Full of unforgettable patient-doctor interactions and human portraits, this documentary depicts a year in the life of Puentes, one of the few U.S. health clinics involved in the politically fraught practice of caring for undocumented immigrants. Clinica de Migrantes tells the story of America's true untouchable class and of the heroic few who reach out to help them. Sponsored by the Latin American studies program, the Office of Intercultural Education, the Medical Studies Committee, and the departments of anthropology, politics, Spanish, English, and art and visual culture.
