National Voter Education Week (NVEW) is an open-source, nonpartisan voter education campaign held annually during the first full week of October. NVEW equips voters with the tools and information they need to cast their ballots with confidence, serving as a resource hub for leaders of any community and context who want to help their networks make their voices heard at the ballot box. NVEW is a concerted effort of hundreds of partners across different sectors, all working together to support voters.
During this week of interactive education, Bates Votes helps students navigate questions about voting in Maine or absentee through their home state, find their polling location, understand their ballot, make a plan to vote, and more. Visit the Bates Votes table outside Commons during lunch for more information!
