A talk by Bonnie Bassler, who studies the molecular mechanisms that bacteria use for intercellular communication. A Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator and the Squibb Professor of Molecular Biology at Princeton, she received an honorary degree from Bates in 2012. The George S.
