Discover tools of Nonviolent Communication, a technique pioneered by Marshall Rosenberg. Through role-playing exercises in small groups, participants experience a framework for discussing charged issues such as the events in Ferguson. In any situation involving conflict, these tools are useful to defuse violence, communicate compassionately and find a resolution. Led by Bonnie Shulman, professor emerita of mathematics.
