Under the auspices of the organization Outreach, 50–100 volunteers from Bates and the local community will package bulk foods into thousands of meals for local food pantries. The Multifaith Chaplaincy, student religious organizations and Grace Lutheran Church in Auburn have organized the event and raised funds to purchase the food.
