Robert Moses' Kin returns to Bates with "NEVABAWARLDAPECE," ("never be a world of peace") a full-company work of urgent energy that explores pivotal moments in America’s liberation movements, insurrections and revolts -- and feels like a plea for a return to core principles. A collaboration with writer-performer Carl Hancock Rux; Afro-Celtic, folk-funk, hip-Appalachian vocalist Laura Love; roots musician and composer Corey Harris '91; and designer Elaine Buckholtz. Talkback with the artists follows both concerts. Pre-performance Inside Dance lecture with dance writer Debra Cash at 7 p.m. Admission: $25 adults / $18 seniors / $12 students.
