This year, the Justice for Women speaker will be Dr. Jane Anyango from Uganda, East Africa. She is a nurse with a PhD and years of research in intimate partner violence. She works on access to healthcare in rural areas and gender based violence. She has spent much of her career working in a remote area of Uganda near the borders with DR Congo and Rwanda. She is the founder of the Uganda Nursing School Bwindi, which is in the process of becoming a full-fledged University transforming a rural corner of Uganda.
